Our Bennett Valley Sauvignon Blanc vineyard is situated 600 feet above sea level in one of the coolest regions of Sonoma County. Two different French clones of Sauvignon Blanc, 376 and 530, are harvested for this wine and produce unique flavors, exotic aromas and bright natural acidity.

2021 was a year to remember. Heat waves and minimal rainfall left California canopies with a lower quantity but a higher quality of fruit, proving that even in the hardest of times beauty and elegance can thrive.

The 2023 Alexander Valley Chardonnay consists of flavors of grilled white peach, lemon blossom, lemon meringue pie and candied pineapple with a medium plus body and medium length and full palate.

Forward minerality on the palate, with mild hints of salinity. Medium body with delicate floral and stone fruit notes intertwining with a balanced mouthfeel.

Our Winemaker, Marcia Torres Forno, just produced and bottled our first ever Journey Pinot Noir. This is a 2021 vintage and now our second Pinot Noir that we are producing here at Matanzas Creek each year. Just as the rest of our Journey selection, Marcia will visit all of our exceptional vineyards and properties in search of the best vineyard, blocks and rows that we have to offer each vintage.

The second release of our Brut Rosé Sparkling Wine! Pleasantly effervescent, and undeniably delicious, this special blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir has rested in tirage for the past 8 years and now it's ready for you to enjoy.

A bright, fun and nouveau style of Malbec Rosé with aromas of Turkish rose delight, pink grapefruit, watermelon rind, and raspberry sorbet.

Aromas of rose petals, blood orange and black tea are complimented by black currant and luxardo cherries on the palate.

This beautiful red blend consists of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 12% Malbec. Ripe blackberries, black cherry and ripe plum fill the glass. Perfect pairing for a summer barbeque with grilled ribeye or fried eggplant.

This beautiful red blend is made up of 59% Malbec and 41% Merlot. Soft, round mouthfeel with notes of licorice as good and plenty candy, baking spice, smoked bacon, tobacco and black cherry. 

Squeezed blackberry, chocolate nibs and Bing cherry fill the aroma with a soft medium lingering tannins on the palate. 

Our Malbec grows in Knights Valley, a tea cup-shaped area between Napa and Alexander Valleys. It is surrounded by mountains, which keeps mornings cooler and warm days longer, producing high-color reds with forward structure.

After 20 months of aging, our Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Malbec were carefully blended to make this beautiful wine. With a few years of bottle aging, this blend is ready to drink!

This beautiful 2016 red blend consists of 69% Merlot and 31% Cabernet Sauvignon. Suede-like tannins encompass the palate with terroir driven acidity which aids in rounding the palate and lengthening the body.

Round tannin structure with lively acidity; long, elegant finish with sarsaparilla, brandied cherry and dark plum flavors.

Aromas of black plums, fresh boysenberries, pomegranate, and earthy notes comingling with hints of red cherry. Attractive spicy aromas of allspice and hints of cinnamon sticks evolve in the glass.
