Tasting Notes

Only our second Rosé in twenty nine years, this wine celebrates the dynamic nature of Bennett Valley varietals - Merlot and Syrah. As seen by the brilliant crimson hue and captivating nose, emphasis is placed on maintaining the true integrity of the harvested fruit's color and flavor. Bright raspberry fruit prevails in the palate, followed by hints of both cranberry and cassis. The bright, crisp character of this wine is best enjoyed when chilled slightly.

In an effort to craft a truly unique limited production wine, fruit from both the 2006 vintage (63%) and 2005 vintage (37%) make up the final blend.
