This Syrah possesses a signature deep, dark plum color followed by a suite of aromas that include black fruit, fresh leather and a touch of cedar. As noted by a Matanzas Creek Winery Syrah aficionado, “If silk twill had an aroma, it would smell like this.” Lively blackberry and black cherry flavors prevail, complemented by notes of cedar, similar to those found in the nose.
